SMS consent process.
Overflow, a Knova Labs product of Cerberus Capital LLC. Last updated August 6, 2026.
This page is the public evidence for Overflow’s low-volume booking-link SMS program. It has one opt-in method: verbal consent during a connected live call. It sends one requested booking link. It does not send recurring or unsolicited promotional texts under this consent.
Messages for this program are sent from +15185004120.
Booking-form reminders are separate
The Recovery Call booking form and homepage widget are not opt-in paths for this booking-link program. A separate, optional, initially unchecked checkbox authorizes only appointment reminder texts for the Recovery Call the visitor books through Cal.com. It cannot authorize or trigger the booking-link text; the recipient must have already requested that link during a connected live call before opening the form.
Text me Overflow Recovery Call reminders through Cal.com. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Exact verbal opt-in
After a business owner asks for the booking link, the operator reads this disclosure exactly:
Would you like me to text the Overflow booking link to this number? You'll receive one text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
- The operator reaches the business owner through the connected Twilio dialer call.
- After the owner asks for the booking link, the operator reads the exact disclosure below.
- Only an affirmative answer permits a booking-link text.
- The server verifies the call belongs to the same lead, operator, and destination number.
- The delivery worker rechecks suppression and quiet hours before sending the one requested text.
Operator consent gate
This PII-free screenshot is generated from the same operator-consent component and versioned contract used in the live dial screen. It shows the default unchecked state; no SMS delivery is created.

Consent record retained
Overflow stores an immutable delivery record containing:
- Provider call reference
- Operator user ID
- Consent capture time
- Disclosure version
- Destination number
- Rendered message body
- Twilio message ID when the provider accepts the send, plus delivery or block status
What does not count as consent
- A publicly listed business number
- A cold call without an affirmative request
- A voicemail
- Silence or no response
- Continued conversation without an explicit yes
Overflow does not send a cold follow-up text merely because a business number is public or because an operator left a voicemail.
